Flowers - 7 Nov 2008

Today I went to InterFlora and sent flowers to Carmelo's wife (Anita) who is in hospital.

Hopefully this will help Carmelo and relax him as he does appear to be very stressed which is quite understandable both because its his beloved wife in hospital and he is an old fella.

I also know that Dave Obee is now in Gibraltar so I have gone to visit him several times at the Cannon Hotel were his is staying and finally got him there. He gave me a scanned photo of himself from 50 years back which I will sure use when a GDA history booklet is prepared.

Carmelo called me to thank me and I told him their is no need and it was a pleasure, also DarrenO. finally managed to get hold of him so Carmelo has decided to come to the Gala dinner and I am overjoyed.

I have had a very busy day at work and am truly tired. However I cant go to bed quite yet as DarrenO. is concerned about the seating plan, especially with the very very late addition of a few people who want to attend. I visit Darren and get that sorted and of course seeing I am with him go over a few other things we need to start to make a move on.
