Back in Time - 6 Nov 2008

Sometimes its quite easy to forget our forefathers and what they have done to get the association to what it is today.

For example I received a phone call from an x president quite annoyed as he had not received an official invite. Although I assured him that he himself mentioned that he was not coming (which is why the invite was not sent) that he was of course invited.

Anyways he must have been further disappointed that his wife was in hospital after an operation and the GDA had not sent anything such as flowers. I will try my best to get that sorted tomorrow (thanks Diane!!!!).

I also received a phone call from AngelN. a friend of the person who is going through a disciplinary. I assured him that said player is suspended until the membership committee sits down. He told me that this was not the same as when a member had an incident and I told him that those facts were not correct as that person received a £200 and a 2 years suspended sentence.

I also prepared the special leave letter for AmosB. for the Winmau as he called me today to request it.
