Today is the 1st league game and I had promised FrancisT. not to worry that I would make sure he received his membership sheet with 2 new registered players DuncanS. (Jnr & Snr). I head down during my lunch break to his workplace and what a surprise. TichO. DyanD. & FrancisT. are all their. Straight away I dish out 5 membership forms for them to take down to their league matches (that saves me some time so I can head home instead of taking the other sheets down to NicholasC. at the Paint Shop).
Tonight is time to relax (hopeful thinking). I have a few drinks at the Laguna SC and I hand ChristianT. his flights (he did call me up as promised to remind me) but I was sure not to forget as I had placed them in the infamous GDA bag the day before.
As I am in charge of accepting the membership renewal & new member forms for acceptance into the GDA, this task involves some treasurers work but it has to be done and once I consolidate all the forms I prepare a breakdown and hand that to the treasurer. JohnnyR. goes through with me how many players he has signed up for the monies he gave us. He rewrites the cheque from the club to its correct form as this happens EVERY YEAR (cheque written wrongly).
Note guys!!!!! Its on all the membership forms, cheques made payable to "Dylan Duo (IRO) Gibraltar Darts Association" or "Justin Broton (IRO) Gibraltar Darts Association". Lets see how many correct cheques we get next year!!!! Any bets!!!!!
