Yesterday I was glad to get the main bulk of cards sent and especially as I have received good feedback from around 6 groups which is always appreciated of course.
Also I am glad that on the same day I received a post card from Dave Obee that I was able to immediately return the gesture by sending him a card too.
That task completed I move on to preparing other GDA stuff for qualifiers that need to be played in Spain and hopefully we can make some money on that. I have structured it in such a way that I believe it would be idiotic if they don't take the offer. Also further to above it makes sense as they will be able to hold qualifiers without the need to travel to Gibraltar. We forget that Spain is a huge country and its much easier to bring it to them than the other way around.
I send Dylan and Darren a text concerning the Turkey shoot and to make sure they have not forgotten to get Turkey vouchers or the real deal. Darren told me that Dylan was made aware of this so its good I sent them both another reminder as it doesn't hurt.
Lastly I send an email to all members to advise them of the Turkey shoot competition which will be played tomorrow and that its a good charity event. Surprisingly one can say as its too close to Xmas and people have commitments.
I've checked last years article and its good I did, as it turns out that we have been playing with double knockout just like it is played in Spain and god knows where those score sheets are. After searching for while I finally find them on a website and I decide to copy them for safe keeping and for future use.
