Trophies - 23 Nov 2008

Today I have been busy cleaning out my room cos its in a bit of a state to say the least.

Looking much better one of the things I did was to take photos of trophies won in the past year both here and in Spain. Then I simply use the steam of a boiling kettle which softens the glue to gently remove the plaque and I will be handing these trophies back to the GDA for the youth which in our books every penny counts.

In fact every year I hear the odd comment about trophies being returned but in fact only one person has directly spoken to me and returned trophies. This was George Ramos.

So if you have any trophies I suggest you keep the most important ones by all means but please do return any others to the GDA and keep a scrap book, like I do, with the plaques which to be honest is equally impressive when shown to family or friends. The fact of the matter is that if you do not own a garage, your wife will most certainly have something to say about the trophies once they start piling up.
