Gloomy Monday - 24 Nov 2008

Its only gloomy because I have tons of things to do at work and its becoming a concern but I am sure I will meet the deadlines on a few projects like the euro elections register and the licensing taxi registration system which need to be completed by 1st December 2008.

Today I have spoken the treasurer DylanD. & league secretary DarrenO. concerning the disciplinary and the photo we need to take for the Winmau World Masters and also of Dylan for his PDC World Championship qualifier event. Up to now all players are accounted for except DysonP. which I have also sent him an email to remind him, that we are meeting up on Wednesday 7:30 College Cosmos (take your Gibraltar selection shirts Dyson OK!!!!). Text messages has been the order of the day and thankfully due to the online system at least it hasn't reflected on my pocket. I have sent emails to those that need to come up Wednesday for the photo. Darren is making sure that TichO. (v-president) is informed (he truly should get a mobile).

I also receive an email from Della Fleetwood concerning the annual fees for the WDF, I will be replying to ask her if she will be at the World Championships and I will settle the monies with her their and then. In fact we are in a good position as we had 88 dollars in credit from last year (thanks to me as I suggested we overpaid) and considering the downturn of the dollar it will save the GDA a few pounds or so. I have sent her the email and realised we could be over invoiced as she has marked us as having over 250 members, I have corrected this and have let her know.

I also send HarryP. an email to see if he can finally get the fees sorted as it appears that DysonP. is either too busy practicing or is not realising the importance of this pending issue.

Urgently I need to complete the ranking article played last Friday simply because we have the article for the guys going abroad to proudly represent Gibraltar and if I delay, the press tends to ignore 1 of them so I need to get the timescales just right. For this reason I want to obtain the missing piece which were the 180's or high finishes scored in the final. I simply do not remember. However its very surprising that the players nor the chalker at the time have gotten back to me. Well not truly surprising as if it were something more important that affected them directly I am sure they would be calling or coming to see me that's a certainty.
