I prepare all the Xmas Ecards today and it works out to be around 40 of them with different combinations of text for each, some are groups, some are management & staff and others are dear friend etc etc....
All that I need to do now is quickly check them and then find them in my email and voila all sent. This little task will surely take me some time but it has to be done.
The only person I am sending a postcard by snail mail is to Carmelo Ellul and family as they do not have Internet.
Also I print off the ranking scoresheets for tonight and the register of players which I need to go through with Tich as he will be in charge of putting in all the results which will help greatly. In doing so I will make sure that I forward (by email) these sheets to Darren for his perusal for the next ranking we have.
DannyP. called me today concerned that I didn't get back to him concerning GBC Open day as he was willing to help out and in fact he had called a few venues already. I advised him that nothing was done as we had nil feedback from members and clubs ourselves. More can be done with a select few but the committee needs to start picking up the phone and committing people to attend and the like, thats my opinion anyways.
I am excited about tonight as I think I'll play well but my recent performances in Gib have not been great so lets hope I can do better this time around as I don't want to leave it till the last few rankings and be forced to bring the rabbit out of the hat.
