Its been a relatively easy day and I have just been busy sending a few emails.
One of them has been to DysonP. who has offered to deal with the Memento and take that task out of Darren's hands as we are still to get these done for the members & VIP's who were present at our 50th Anniversary Gala dinner. Once we have them I will post a picture of one as it should be very pretty pretty pretty.
Secondly I write to the committee highlighting the fact that the Xmas cards are of extreme importance for public relations and to thank people, organizations, etc for their continued support of the GDA and I am hoping the committee responds well in providing a list so that we do not leave anyone out. Xmas is upon us so we must act quick.
Darren Spoke to me on MSN, we chatted and both agreed to cancel our Charity fund raising contribution towards GBC Open day as we are getting no response at all from members & contacts alike (well just a few people to be honest but not enough). Quite disappointing AGAIN.
Next years plan of action is to delegate just this important task to someone so that he/she can be involved throughout the year in getting clubs, members, contacts to commit to doing something.
It is the only way delegate, delegate, delegate.....
