Canceled game, Corrections & phone Calls.

Dylan calls me up early to advise me that tonight's game with R&J Varyl Begg has been cancelled, I am not too happy as I am hitting form and was up for a good night as I expected to be play well tonight. However nothing we can do if we have so many players missing especially with such an important match against one of the top teams in the league. We do discuss that we might play on Thursday against R.A.O.B. (which is another cancelled game).

Tommy Cox called me up wanting to speak to Darren and we arrange to call from my house so that Darren doesn't incur any telephone costs. I am also expecting a phone call from the president of the Cataluña Darts Federation but he doesn't call me. Seeing Darren is with me we go over a few pending issues like the xmas cards and the list I am hoping he gives me very soon as we are running out of days. We also discuss other stuff which I wont bother you with all the details as its the same old stuff we keep discussing. He does however highlight that the tender award amount I used was £100 pounds short on what we got offered. I bet him a pint that I am correct.

I also receive an updated letter concerning the missing information for the Gibraltar Sports & Leisure Authority and I forward one of the requirements (WDF affiliation letter) to Darren so that he can hand that in.

I forgot to give Tich the darts as I was way to busy at work, I do however call him close to 8pm as I thought he might be passing my house on his way to his darts match and I was correct. So finally Emilio Robles has his spare set of 32 gram darts which I hope he will like.

Seeing we had a cancelled game I decide to visit Darren at the Trafalgar Sports Bar and watch a second division game. How I wish the 1st division had the fun that they appear to have in the 2nd division, there is just not the same tension in the air. I buy Darren his pint as he found the tender letter and indeed he was correct. What some people do for a pint eh!!!! see how quickly he found the letter, impressive!!!!!
